Psalms 138:7 (KJV)

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.

When we’re walking through the valley of the shadow of death, we can do it with a smile, because we know that God has built a hedge of protection around us to keep us safe from harm and the enemy’s schemes.
