Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer

2 Thessalonians 2:16-17

2 Thessalonians 2:16-17: May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.

We all need strength and encouragement from time to time. If we are blessed with close family ties, we may draw upon their strength and kind words. However, as people are, they can disappoint and hurt you, especially if they are family and/or close friends. In times of grief, loss and anguish, we can turn to God, and lean on His everlasting arms of strength, which helps us to face each new day with a smile. It’s nice to get some encouraging words from people, but how much more worthy are the words of Christ, reminding us of His love and that He will never leave or forsake us.
