Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
1 Corinthians 15:55 (NIV)
“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?”
If you’ve ever been to a funeral where there were shouts of joy and dancing, this may sound confusing. However, for the believer, it’s a celebration. Yes, it’s always sad to lose a loved one, but the Word of God says that we are blessed if we die in Him, for we rest from our labor. If you think about it, it’s a taunt to the enemy of our souls, who thinks that death is the end of everything. No, my brother and sister, it’s another plane of existence, as we are transported from life to eternity, to be with the Lord forever. Hallelujah! We will bow down with the 24 elders before the throne of God, and be in eternal praise and worship to the One who saved us, healed us, delivered us, and loved us to eternal life with Him. What a glorious day!

Amen! When my six year old niece died six months ago we danced, we praised God, and we spoke in heavenly languages. My niece even was dressed like a princes with a crown, long gloves and a beautiful white dress. She was going to meet the king so she had to be dressed for the special event! My niece had cancer and a year before she died she told my brother not to be angry with her but she was going home to see the Lord! When a believer develops a relationship with God their views change on how they view death. Remember when Jesus died on the cross he took the keys to Hades, death and the grave to give us a precious gift eternal life!
John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
John 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
1 John 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
1 John 5:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life
I know that's right. Sure, tears will fall, but for the believer, we know that we will see them again...
