Isaiah 5:21 (NIV)

Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight.

The enemy loves to trick us into thinking that we are smart and crafty enough to get over, without anyone knowing who or what we’re really about. If we’re not careful, we’ll believe our own press. We must stay vigilant before the Lord, and ask us to remove a haughty and prideful spirit from us, and remain humble.
