Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
Job 5:17-18 (NIV)
“Blessed is the man whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty. For he wounds, but he also binds up; he injures, but his hands also heal.”
Like a parent who disciplines their child to keep them from hurt, harm and danger, so it is with our Heavenly Father. To be disciplined doesn’t feel good, but it’s for our good, and we ultimately will benefit from it, and be grateful.

Women of God! Woman of God teach! This brings me back to when God was trying to show me something early in my ministry. I remember I got written up at work which was a form of discipline. But God told me that discipline according to me is not the same as the world's standards. It means I am taining you for discipleship! Take whatever they give you because the CEO of the company promised to launch an investigation. I said no beause I know you will lie and I will face disappointment God said take it someone lying is not the worst thing in the world because look at how the world disciplined and the 12 disciples for teaching and spreading the Gospel! They had to pay with theiir lives except John who was in exile on the island of Patmos. John did not die a violent death I believe because he was at the cross with jesus....People have to understand people can correct us all they want but when God corrects us and sees the need to do so we better "get some act right" because we can not walk in rebellion, control, and disobediance and not be disciplined by God for it. We will not pay sometimes in this life but we do pay in eternity but not obtaiing enteral life! Jesus discipliend himsself enough to die for us so why can't we just love one another and stop tailbearering, backbiting and gosspiing. It breaks the hearts of true officers of the five-fold ministry so I know it breaks the heart of Christ. When we get baptized in the holy ghost the fruits of the spirit come. It is sad to say most people have gotten salvation and water baptisim but have failed to get baptized by fire (holy ghost) so fruits of the spirit are not present. Gal. 5:22-251
Heb 12:5-8 (NIV) And you have forgotten that word of encouragement that addresses you as sons: "My son, do not make light of the Lord's discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, and he punishes everyone he accepts as a son." Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons.
Heb 12:9-11 (NIV) Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live! Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in his holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.
I got the information below from an article on the internet:
God uses discipline as a last resort. If all God needed to justify mankind to himself was a bigger cattle-prod, then Christ died for nothing! No, God's plan for the earth is love first, discipline last. To get us to listen and repent, he will use deep conviction, the rebuke of friends, coincident sermons, the quickening of Scripture, and every other means before disciplining us. But if we resist God's Spirit of light and mercy, we are promised the rod of correction. When God disciplines, the punishment fits the crime. Time and again, we realize that we cannot get away with unrepentant sin. God is sculpting us into holy vessels, and the process can be painful.
Praise God! I had to go to court with my former landlord yesterday, and she lied like a rug. I was angry and outraged, and actually had to walk out of the mediation room a couple of times, but the clerk magistrate saw what she was trying to do, and basically shut her attorney down. I had to repent, because I really wanted to let her have it, but the Word of God says that vengeance belongs to Him, so I held my peace, no matter how angry I was at what she was saying. God is in control, and we have to accept what people say and do, because He is handling it behind the scenes. Preach, Woman of God!
Really sis! We bind the enemy by the blood of Jesus! I have been on the other side as a landlord and I was trying to be nice to tenants even when they did not pay.....They would lie too saying I had black mold in my house and they were going to sue me. I said no one is mking you stay there. The only time I got threats is when I asked them to move. But when I said nothing she would say nothing.! You remain steadfast people try to whip on us all the time because it is the Christ in us they hate! I will be prayiing for you!
John 15:
16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.
18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
I appreciate it. She tried to convince us that she was a Christian when we moved in, but she showed anything but that, and we knew that we had to move. We have a wonderful landlord, who is an older gentleman. She even tried to tell him that we were bad tenants, but he didn't believe her, because of her attitude. That's ok. God will deal with her. I have to pray for her that God would have mercy on her soul.
We will continue to praise God and pray despite the naysayers and haters. There are people out there trying to attack those of the five-fold. You remain encouraged because you are doing something right otherwise the enemy would not attack you...I know it sounds weird but it is true. When you are no threat to the kingdom of darkness then nothing happens but if you are a blessing to God here comes the enemy.
I believe that with all my heart. When all is well, and there is no opposition, the enemy doesn't think we are a threat, so he doesn't bother. It's only when we stand up for Jesus that he works overtime to trip us up. To God be the glory!
AMEN! woman of God! Amen!
