When people hurt us especially when we love them it is very difficult. It easier to forgive people we are forced to have relationships with like a college roomate, co-worker, someone we share office space with at work, and a supervisor because often these people are in our lives but by no choice of our own. But when siblings, husbands, and close fiends , our own pastors and other clergy within the body it is difficult we have to acknowledge we are hurt, process our pain with someone, pray, fast, then let go. Women of God when I got fired from my job two years ago the person directly responsible got fired months later. She thought it was funny and bragged about things she would do to other supervisors. I am so glad I had another supervisor to talk to because she began to pay attention as well as others and said WOW they are lying on her! She does not do anything to anyone. I am just a person who tells the truth and does not tolerate abusive behavior because it is unprofessional. We as women of color have been stereotyped as having attitudes and using profanity but not all black women cusss. Sis I was so mad about someone saying that about me because I love the Lord! Anyone who knew me said "That is not true I can not imageine her doing that! But they lied on Jesus  Christ so apparently people will lie on us too. Lies destroy lives it can cause someone's marriage to break up, people to lose their jobs, and reputations and ministries to be effected. People run towards a lie mroe so than they will seek out the truth. Jesus said you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free! So when folk chase stories by lying and gossiping they are in bondage.

When people are not believers (some think they are) they are in darkness. One manager said if it is not true why should you care? I said because I am getting in trouble for it! Then he would speak to me 5 times a day.  When I asked another minister why he said Karen those are nothing but guilty feelings. It made me feel uncomfortable. I remember I was in the hosptial all of them lying and gosssiping where like are you okay? There is a difference between someone caring about your welfare and someone beiing nosey. I said very low I am okay. Remember when people are possessed by certain spirits such as Jezebel they are controlling, want to be queen bee, have an unteachable spirit (meaning even if they are wrong they will never admit it), insecure, and envious. Jezebel is like an onion there are layers of stuff. We have to pleaed the blood! Because with emenies sometimes we see them begin to really suffer before our eyes (health wise, marriage problems, and them chaning supervisors and them being mistreated) but we just have to pray for them! I have found when I pray for someone who has done me harm God blesses me! The Psalms are awesome when it comes to using scripture to overcome hurt, betrayal, and demonic attacks.

Psalm 91

That is amazing, Karen.  That's why we have to stay on our knees.  It's always painful when people don't treat us right, but we shouldn't be surprised, because the Lord warns us about it in His Word.  And the truth always comes out, and we're vindicated of wrong doing.  To God be the glory...
