Solomon  judgment and decisions was based on his Wisdom and wisdom, power and achievement  do not ultimate come from human source. They are from God no matter what we lead or govern,we can't do well when we ignore God's guideline. Weather or not we are leaders, effectiveness  depends upon  listening and obeying God's Word. Don't let your personal desires distort God's Word
 
Solomon was a zoologist,architect, poet, and philosopher God blessed him with Wealth,although he didn't asked for wealth Solomon. Asked God  
 
1Ki 3:9 Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad: for who is able to judge this thy so great a people?
God's answer:
 
1Ki 3:10 And the speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing.
1Ki 3:11 And God said unto him, Because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life; neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies;  but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment;
 
We need to remember that. What are we asking God for . God told Solomon because he didn't  ask for riches, didn't asked for long life didn't asked the life of his enemies I am going to make you the wiser man in the world and give you what you didn't asked for, riches and, honor   I am going to asked the question again what are you asking God for?
 
Notice as soon as he asked God for wisdom here come 2 women.when you ask God for something he will give you the opportunity  to use it
 
1 King :3-16 is wisdom in action
Two women ,adultery  woman  (harlots) gave birth the same night in the same house one baby was dead, while the women's were asleep the baby's were switch . Mothers you know we know our baby. We know the cry of our baby and we love our babies  Imagine 2 woman this is my baby no way my baby is alive
Wisdom told Solomon the real mother ant going for this she would give up the baby before she see me cut the baby in half. So he said Bring me the baby I will cut it in half and both babies would be dead. Mother's can't you feel that mother don't kill my baby and the baby was given to the mother  Wisdom established his reputation  as a wise King
 
Are we establishing  a reputation  of a Christian so the world can see?
 
   1Ki 3:28 And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged;  and they feared the king: for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him, to do judgment
 
Solomon asked God for wisdom to carry out his job;he did not ask God to do the job for him .we should not ask God to do for us what He wants to do through us Instead we should ask God to give us the wisdom to know what to do and the courage to follow through on it
 
2 Chron .9:8 is a comment made by queen of Sheba,when your light shine for rightness  for God people talk and the news travel .the queen had to see for herself  she heard about the wisdom the King had and after seeing for her self she was overwhelmed when she saw the fruit of the wisdom. ISREAL prospered under king Solomon reign
