Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer

The lesson for Sunday, November 11,2012 is "Weathering the Storm." Scripture: Acts 27:33-44.
OVERVIEW
The lesson is describing how Paul, being a captive prisoner, was being transported to another location, namely Rome, to appeal his case. While traveling via ship, a mighty storm came upon them. It was obvious that they were not going to make their destination because of the storm, they lighten their load, rationed the food and had not eaten for 14 days.
What they did not know was that God had told Paul that they would make it through the storm and that they had to eat to keep up their strength. Paul reassured the soldiers and fellow prisoners that God said they would make it and not a one of them would be harmed.
All the soldiers and prisoners landed safely on land, because one man dared to believe and have faith in God.
We all at some time in our life will go through a storm or some storms. All of us will at some point in our life face challenges, trials and tribulations. The questions is, what will you do while going through your trials? How will you handle your trials? What will be your attitude in the trials? Will you become bitter? Will you be angry? or will you no matter what, trust God? Will you weather your storm(s) or will your storm(s) weather you?
