Spread The News. Acts:28:23-31

The news is the Good news of the Gospel
Paul has reached Rome af trials after trials, he did not give up on God. So meny times we feel like giving up. When the storms of life come. Paul is an example for all.

Remember Paul had written a letter to the Christians in Rome before he arrive in Rome. Paul did not set up the church in Rome The Romans church had been establish by believers who had been at Jerusalem for Pentecost (Act 2:10) and by travels who had heard the good news and brought back to Rome

Rome was the capital of the Roman Empire ,which had spread over Europe ,North Africa and the Near East. In New Testament times , Rome was experiencing a "golden age" the city was wealthy but it was also morally decadent. The Romans worshiped many gods even some of the emperors . The Romans. Trusted in there strong military power to protect them against all enemies (Rom 1-1)

Paul prayed for the change to visited these Christians in Rome so he could encourage. Them with his gift of faith and be encouraged by theirs

Our Faith gives us a common bond and a common purpose for encouraging one another. Encourage some one today.

Verse 23 Paul use the Old Testament to teach the Jews that Jesus was the Messiah,the fulfillment of God's promises . The book of Romans , was written 10 years early revels the dialogue Paul had with the Jews in Rome. Some would not Believe
Verse 27. Paul quoting from Isaiah 6:9,10

Verse 30. While Paul was under house arrest, he did more than speak for the Jews .He wrote letters commonly called his Prison Epistles,to the Ephesians ,Colossians ,and Philippians ,as well as personal letters such as the one to Philemon

Tradition says Paul was released after two years of house arrest in Rome

Although he was going to go to trial before Caesar. Luke does give us an account of his trial before Caesar and Luke was a detailed chronicle

Paul would use his time in bond teaching every time they change guards Paul would preach to him
