In this text we see a man taking a stand . A main that is in bound, under house arrest . Taking a stand for the Gospel knowing he could loose his life. Where did h e get the courage He knew what happen to Steven. He was there


Paul went before the Council The Sadducees and Pharisees was two groups of Religious leaders but with different beliefs .

Act 23:6 But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question

N Acts 23:8 For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both.

Act 23:12 And when it was day, certain of the Jews banded together, and bound themselves under a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul. Why.? He took a stand for God

Here He is in Chapter 26 still taking a stand before the Governor and King Agrippa I was obedient to God's call who call God's call verse 19

Verse 20 :Paul preached to all men. As soon as be was saved, be begin immediately to witness for Christ

I preached repentance turning to God . Turning to God implies faith . No one is going to turn to God that doesn't believe in God The work of repentance is a change life repentance concerns how a man or woman live , what he does his deeds

Faith exalts what God has done,not what people do
Faith is based on our Relationship with God , not our performance for God

Verse 21 for this cause I was persecuted what was he preaching? Christ Death Christ Resurrection what do you preach Do you preach the Gospel.? I am going to preach the Gospel it is the only thing change people's lives
It will take you from Evil to Good.


Are you willing to take a stand for Christ.? In spite of opposition . Even when you are called crazy.

God worked unusual miracles by the hand of Paul so that ever handkerchief or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the disease left them and the evil spirits left them. 23 :11
