Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
Let's Pray: Father God, we lay down all of our understanding of scriptures and ask only that the Holy Spirit lead and guide us, individually, into all truth for each one of us. Cleanse us of all that needs to be washed away, and anoint our spirit so we can walk in the newness of our Life in Christ. Thank you, Father, in Jesus' Name, Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen, Amen.

Now, let's check out Romans 7:14-25 - lead by the Holy Spirit. Paul lays it all out very plainly - the 'dying daily process'. We find out why and what happens in the dying process of picking up our cross daily and following Jesus - who shows the way: 'Father not my will but yours be done'. Remember Jesus the only begotten son of God, was human - and in the Garden where he was praying, and sweating blood - have you ever wondered why?
The stress of facing the process of death and salvation, which included being separated from God, His heavenly Father, well, everything in Jesus' flesh was saying No Way! And the struggle for obedience is shown how powerful it can be - as in the flesh and our choice rise up to say 'No Way!' - An what we learn in our new life is how to lay down our own understanding of what is happening - and receive God's will and way - awesome! Romans 7:14-25

14For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
15For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
16If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
17Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
18For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
19For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
20Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
21I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
22For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
23But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
24O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
25I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Are you beginning to see? We are in the process, once born again in New Life in Christ, or learning to choose wisely - as in renew our mind - and become who we are, which serves the law of God. Our flesh is set to serve the law of sin which leads to death. In new life, our spirit is set to serve the law of God, and we, living souls, get to chose life or death - life = obedience to the law of God in our life ---> or we can choose death = obedience to the law of sin and death.
Now here is where we get to grow, learn and choose wisely - as we pick up our cross and recognize that we (flesh) have been crucified with Christ Jesus the anointed one which breaks all the yokes in our soul that connects to the law of sin and death. As we choose God, choose life, choose obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit - we grow more in living, moving, and having our being in God. The anointing breaks all the yokes, setting us free from the bondage. We now enter into the True Authority in Christ.
Re-read if necessary, as led by the Holy Spirit - and journal.
Peace!!
