The Mystery Revealed 2 U

It isn't about a 'group' or 'clan' or 'family' - separated off from everyone - and believing for special treatment for their beliefs or belonging to's.  It is about Christ in us our hope of glory - it's about reaching out to those who are lost and who need the light, the way, the truth - Jesus. 

Paul says it was revealed to him, and he shares it for us to seek God on what it is to  mean to us - as in led into the truth by the Holy Spirit. 

This may mean to be loving and kind to a neighbor or work place associate.  In the time and season that God knows will be right.  We are to be lights in this world, and share how we came to be lights.

1. Through God's loving us, even when we were dead in our sin-life to Him.  Still He loved us and gave His only begotten Son so that we could be-come born again, and enter into the New Life that God has always purposed for us.
2. Through Jesus' sacrifice - laying down his sinless God based life for us and bearing all the sin of the world - becoming sin-man in our place.
3. Through Jesus' descending into hell, death and the grave - where we all wer headed - and RAISING UP from these, with the keys to hell, death and the grave - so we can be free - even while we are still in the earthen suits=flesh.
4. The mystery of calling light out of darkness and life out of death - and once born again and spirit filled/led - we share God's truth, life, light, and way with others who are broken, bound, and in captivity.

Isaiah says it this way in Is. 61:

   ¹   The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

   ²   To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;

   ³   To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

   ⁴   And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.

   ⁵   And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.

   ⁶   But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves.

   ⁷   For your shame ye shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.

   ⁸   For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

   ⁹   And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD hath blessed.

   ¹⁰  I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

   ¹¹  For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.

Amplified Bible (AMP)  Isaiah 61

¹   THE SPIRIT of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound,^(A)

 ²   To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord [the year of His favor] ^[a]and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn,^(B)

 ³   To grant [consolation and joy] to those who mourn in Zion--to give them an ornament (a garland or diadem) of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment [expressive] of praise instead of a heavy, burdened, and failing spirit--that they may be called oaks of righteousness [lofty, strong, and magnificent, distinguished for uprightness, justice, and right standing with God], the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.

 ⁴   And they shall rebuild the ancient ruins; they shall raise up the former desolations and renew the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations.

 ⁵   Aliens shall stand [ready] and feed your flocks, and foreigners shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.

 ⁶   But you shall be called the priests of the Lord; people will speak of you as the ministers of our God. You shall eat the wealth of the nations, and the glory [once that of your captors] shall be yours.^(C)

 ⁷   Instead of your [former] shame you shall have a twofold recompense; instead of dishonor and reproach [your people] shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double [what they had forfeited]; everlasting joy shall be theirs.

 ⁸   For I the Lord love justice; I hate robbery and wrong with violence or a burnt offering. And I will faithfully give them their recompense in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant or league with them.

 ⁹   And their offspring shall be known among the nations and their descendants among the peoples. All who see them [in their prosperity] will recognize and acknowledge that they are the people whom the Lord has blessed.

 ¹⁰  I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul will exult in my God; for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

 ¹¹  For as [surely as] the earth brings forth its shoots, and as a garden causes what is sown in it to spring forth, so [surely] the Lord God will cause rightness and justice and praise to spring forth before all the nations [through the self-fulfilling power of His word].

The Message (MSG) Isaiah 61

Announce Freedom to All Captives

   ^{1 -7} The Spirit of God, the Master, is on me because God anointed me. He sent me to preach good news to the poor,    heal the heartbroken, Announce freedom to all captives,    pardon all prisoners. God sent me to announce the year of his grace—    a celebration of God's destruction of our enemies—    and to comfort all who mourn, To care for the needs of all who mourn in Zion,    give them bouquets of roses instead of ashes, Messages of joy instead of news of doom,    a praising heart instead of a languid spirit. Rename them "Oaks of Righteousness"    planted by God to display his glory. They'll rebuild the old ruins,    raise a new city out of the wreckage. They'll start over on the ruined cities,    take the rubble left behind and make it new. You'll hire outsiders to herd your flocks    and foreigners to work your fields, But you'll have the title "Priests of God,"    honored as ministers of our God. You'll feast on the bounty of nations,    you'll bask in their glory. Because you got a double dose of trouble    and more than your share of contempt, Your inheritance in the land will be doubled and your joy go on forever.

   ^{8 -9}"Because I, God, love fair dealing    and hate thievery and crime, I'll pay your wages on time and in full,    and establish my eternal covenant with you. Your descendants will become well-known all over.    Your children in foreign countries Will be recognized at once    as the people I have blessed."

   ^{10 -11}I will sing for joy in God,    explode in praise from deep in my soul! He dressed me up in a suit of salvation,    he outfitted me in a robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom who puts on a tuxedo    and a bride a jeweled tiara. For as the earth bursts with spring wildflowers, and as a garden cascades with blossoms, So the Master, God, brings righteousness into full bloom and puts praise on display before the nations.

There is a reason for this new season - God has claimed all - TYJ - Amen!
