1 JOHN 4:1-6 ARE YOU DEALING WITH THE RIGHT SPIRIT
we should not believe everyone claiming divine inspiration. people may claim to revere jesus as a great teacher,but only those who acknowledge him as GOD IN THE FLESH are trruly christians. all others speak by the "SPIRIT OF THE ANTICHRIST" (4:3). and we should avoid them. when such false teachers come calling, we can be confident that the HOLY SPIRIT who indwells us is more powerful than the evil one who indwells them.* "THE ANTICHRIST" * will appear during the last days see>1 JOHN. 2:18 4:3). *will deny christ"s deity see>1JOHN. 2:22) and christ's humanity( 1 JOHN.4:3) see> 2 JOHN.1:7).* has many prototypes and christ's) throughout history 1john. 2:18 4:3)( while the word antichrist appears only in john's letter's, several other passages talk of a person many scholars identify as the antichrist see>DAN. 9:20-27 11:36-45 12:5-13).(ZECH.11:15-17 see>2 THESS. 2: 1-12) see> REV. 13: 1-10).
