A Letter To My Father

This is a message to my Father, whom I love with all my heart.

Father I was just sitting here thinking about you, so I decided to write you a letter. I wanted to let you know how much I love you and how much I appreciate you. A lot of times people want to receive the blessings but not the one who is doing the blessing. There have been no one in my life who loved me enough to give his life for me. You looked upon me and saw something in me that you can use. Even when I was not sure of myself, but you were sure of me.

Father when there was no one who would accept me for who I am, you opened up your arms and told me to come as I am and I want to say thank you. You were there when I felt like I was invisible and I felt like I was the forgotten child, you stepped in and said my child be not conformed to the patterns of this world but be transform by the renewing of your mind. Father you are the one who when I fall short you say don't stay in that place get up and dust yourself off. Father when I go left when you told me to go right you are there to show me how to get back on the right path. Father when I found myselfin a dark place you shine your light so that I can find my way back to you.

I thank you Lord for showing me how to love, not only myself but how to love others. You showed me how to be compassionate, how to encourage and to build someone up. Father you have showed me how to run this race with patience allowing the Holy Spirit to lead and guide me into all truth and understanding. Lord you took the time to let me know that if some one hurt you, mistreated you, forgive them because they know not what they do. Father you gave me a heart to hunger after your Word and once I am full to go give it out to others who need to hear your Word.

Father there are times that I wanted to do things my way and I knew that they would not work out. And for that I want you to know that I apologize and asking for your forgiveness. Sometimes we can get so caught up with ourselves and the business of others that we forget about our Father and the work that he has set before us. Father I want to thank you for standing by me when no one else did. I want to thank you for not giving up on me, when I was told that I would never amount to anything. Thank you for the Love and the Blood that covers me. Thank you for being that example for me for truly there is none like you. Father there are many more things I could say but I will hold on to them for now. I just want to thank you for who you are, and who you are in my life; My Savior, My Friend, My King and My Lord. And thank you for choosing this vessel to do your will. I never would of made it with you.
