She was born in rural Mississippi and lived with her grandmother in a house that had no indoor plumbing. She made it to college in Nashville, where she got her start in television. Over time, she moved to the top of her profession, and today, her show, Oprah, is an unparalleled hit.

When questioned about her journey to the top, Oprah said, “God can dream a bigger dream than we can dream for ourselves.” She was right. So try Oprah’s formula: increase the size of your dreams. Because the Good Lord’s plan for each of us is big. But it’s up to us to accept the part, to step up on stage and to perform.
