7 REASONS WHY THE MAN WITH ONE TALENT FAILED?

Matthew 25:25-27

Then the one who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Sir, I knew that you were a hard man, harvesting where you did not sow, and gathering where you did not scatter seed, 25:25 so 25 I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. See, you have what is yours.’ 25:26 But his master answered, 26 ‘Evil and lazy slave! So you knew that I harvest where I didn’t sow and gather where I didn’t scatter? 25:27 Then you should have deposited my money with the bankers, 27 and on my return I would have received my money back with interest!


1]he DESPISED his talent,it was little,only one.don't despise what God has deposited in you,it may be small and little but when God anoints it,it will do wonders.Remember God used the stone of David to bring down a giant.

2]he suffered from COMPARISON SYNDROME.the rest had received more than him.don't compare yourself with anyone,you are unique in your own way.God will only demand what He entrusted you.Don't fall in the comparison trap,be you for God created one you.

3]he was LAZY AND LACKED THE PASSION.you must not be slothful,you must be laborious.put your whole heart in all that you do.

4]he FEARED.if you fear to act,to risk,to make a move,you will never fail but you will never succeed either.Invest the talent even in risky places and you will have the interest.you are only rewarded when you risk.

5]he was REBELLIOUS.he spoke rudely to his master,he was not submissive,he had a negative attitude.God will put you under people,some who will not be the best but you must obey,you must submit for that the only way to become great.

6]he was WICKED.for you to be effective,then you must develop character that will enable you to walk with God,you must be faithful,you must shun any appearance of evil,the vessel that carries the talent must be clean.

7]he lacked INITIATIVE.he could have deposited the money and it could have earned interest.he did not think,he did not use his God given common sense.You have the mind of Christ,use it,there are things God will never tell you or explain,there are details God will never speak so seek knowledge and apply it.

GOD HAD DEPOSITED A LOT IN YOU,DISCOVER IT AND DEVELOP IT AND DELIVER IT TO OTHERS.
