Embracing the Sunlight!!!!

The Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord a will give grace and glory; no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11 KJV)

Dear Family, We know at times life is filled with the darkness of a polar night, with icy winds blowing across the frozen reaches of our hearts. In these times, we must place our hope in God, for he will not allow the icy darkness to reign forever in our lives. For very soon the sun will shine again, melting our ice-locked (bored) emotions.

The promise of renewed life comes with the sunlight of His love. We start to feel an unrestrained urge to turn our faces upward into its radiance. The sunlight illuminates our hearts and chases away the long, cold night. We will find that once again we are able to appreciate the good things God has placed in our lives. His mercy has shaped a bright, new morning.

Father God, we thank you for bringing sunlight to our souls and warming our frozen hearts. In Jesus name we pray. Amen
