“God is calling us to take on a new ministry, Freedom House.

This new ministry tackles one of the hidden epidemics facing our society, emancipated youth.“Emancipated youth are children who grew up in the foster system, many going through 20-30 different homes in their short childhood. These youth, now at 17 or 18, are put out on the street to fend for themselves.

These kids are so badly damaged, broken, and hurting that their adult lives begin with an uphill battle that will end in tragedy. 40% of the girls will get pregnant within the first 18 months of being on the street and a 1/3 of all emancipated youth will end up in prison. Often they have never know the love and guidance of parents much less the love of Jesus Christ
