I have the privilege of traveling to Europe and Africa to minister for which I am grateful to God. While on the airplane a couple of days ago, I had a dream that I want to share with you. In the dream the scripture came to me:
Jeremiah 29:11 (King James Version)
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
Isaiah 55:8,9 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
I recall in the dream I was challenged to live life from God's perspective because He knows the end from the beginning. I remember the revelation was so real concerning our not solving problems from our perspective, but based only God's perspective. God sees the big picture, and does not have tunnel vision; He sees our past, present and our future. The key to overcoming challenges and problems and have victory is to see them from the proper perspective. In our limited vision, we have blind blots. But in His Word, we are admonished to come up higher, to elevate our thinking, to submit our will to His will. Based on Ephesians 2, we are told we are seated in heavenly places, above principalities and powers. If we try to face mountains and challenges in our own strength, they will seem overwhelming, but if we view them based on our position in Christ, they appear minute. Our mountains become small issue versus God's ability. Faith clings to the Word of God and says His ways are perfect; that God has carefully thought out the way we must take.
We say sometimes about ourselves that we cannot make up our mind, we weigh the pros and cons and we change our mind. God on the other hand has made up His mind and there is no variableness in Him. His purposes and thoughts towards us are settled and binding. We see the moment, but God sees the end. We need to act in faith in perfect submission. Perhaps today you are in despair, your are struggling, you have challenges that seem hopeless. I encourage you today, submit your will to His. You are in God's thoughts; His thoughts towards you are of peace. He knoweth the way that you take. Come up higher; elevate your perspective. May we say today with submission and hope and in the words of the Psalmist in 62:5: My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
My earnest prayer for you is that you will continuously seek the heart of God and to live life from God's perspective! I encourage you to set your affections on things above and not on things on this earth. God has you on His mind.
Blessings
