Good God Sunday Morning- "Thanksgiving for the Grace- the Anointing- the Father’s Glory" Part II

“And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office. And thou shalt bring his sons, and clothe them with coats: And thou shalt anoint them, as thou didst anoint their father that they may minister unto me in the priest’s office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.” (KJV Exodus 40:13-15)

Prayer in Prose

Our Dear God we come in prayer requesting your favor on the behalf of our President Barrack Obama; as Barrack Obama stands in the place of Jeremiah’s Lamentation of tears for a change of a nation, “A change that we can believe in”. Let that belief be of our God Jehovah who is holy, righteous, and faithful. Let us rejoice in the kingdom promise and be of a thankful heart as the Holy Scripture reads in “I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy; because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now; being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus”. (Philippians 1:3-6)

Dear God entrust President Obama to abide in your words so that he might pray …

“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me by your generous Spirit. Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners shall be converted to you. Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, the God of my salvation, and my tongue shall sing aloud of your righteousness. O Lord, open my lips, And my mouth shall show forth your praise. For you do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; you do not delight in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart; These, O God, You will not despise”. (Psalms 51:10-17 NKJV)

Produce O’ Lord

A man such as Jeremiah; Let our leader, Obama’s words ring out as a memory and for his countrymen for a Hope in the midst of affliction, A Lamentation to God.

Produce O’ Lord

The Wisdom of Solomon- that all wisdom comes from the Lord and that fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and rebuking all vanities. Instilling in his thoughts “As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever”. (1 Chronicles 28:9 NKJV)

Produce O’ Lord

The patience and will of Job in which God will reveal himself, so as President Obama may gather a clearer understanding of God, His purposes and that Obama’s response to God is of submission and surrender so that God will endow our nation with a great testimony of health, wealth and blessings.

Produce O’ Lord

A covenant of leadership and service unto God, as did Abraham, and in doing so create a great nation. Oh Lord draw our nation’s heart closer to your Holy Word that in the midst of trouble and/ or despair so that we might “Trust in the LORD with all our hearts and lean not to our own understanding;
in all our ways acknowledge him,
and he will direct our paths.”( Proverbs 3:5-6).

Our Heavenly Father Lord God Jehovah as we pray for President Obama- we pray for ourselves and our fathers.

I petition this prayer to you my Lord, Jehovah, the God that will be there (Exod.3:14)
