HIStory not MYstory

As I was sitting here God had an eye opener with me. Wow did He. You know we all try to write our own story of life. We forget that this is Gods story not ours. just look HIStory!
God places direction, people, places, open doors all in our way but we turn away. We doubt ourselves. We dont stop to pray and ask Him is this from you? We just do our own thing.

One example is our mate. Yes alot of us wonder why relationships fail why "we" always find the wrong guy or girl. Well there it it is "WE". We try to choose instead of talking to our Father and/or waiting on Him. We are in such a rush for a set up for failure. A distraction from His will.

If God has placed a calling on your life why would He set you up with someone not evenly yoked and not in His will? He wouldnt!

Doubt is a fuit of evil. When we are with the "right one" we doubt we are good enough. We have had so many wrong ones we push this one away. We question what if... what if... instead of seeking Him.

We need to get this right! A woman should not be out seeking the man. Lets get this straight. Women you should be so in love with our Father that a man needs to seek Him before he finds you. PURITY. A word so few know.

We need to stop trying to write our story. Look at Gen 11:4 Then they said, "Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves and not be scattered over ther face of the whole earth."

Well all try to do this on our own. Books, cds, dvds,etc.. We watch others having stuff and we want this. we spend so much time trying to rewrite HIStory to mystory. We always place the famous words I should of done this or that and I would of had it. No because your trying to write your story.

The good news is we cant figure out our life that. You cant possibly master enough principles and disciplines to ensure that your life works out. We were not ment too and God wont let you. For He knows if we suceed without Him, we will be infinitely father from him.

That whole approach to life smacks more of the infamous people who raised the tower of Babel than it does of those who walked with God in the garden in the cool of the day. In the end I'd much rather have God. Wouldn't you?
