She's black & beautiful as she can be.
So talented and bright for all the world to see.
She's not afraid of the challenges that may comes her way.
Will stand, confront, conquer them, then finish out the day.
It's not about peer pressure, but getting her joy.
About getting her education and not parties and the boys.
Understanding that God will provide all her needs.
With a loving mother,
who she can come home to for help if she hurts her knee.
A mother that will teach her what she needs to know in & of the world.
Cause that's mommy's little girl.
Wow! she growing up so fast, how time really flies.
She almost a grown woman and I hate to see mommy cry.

this about our young women, our daughters that we need to let them know we are proud of them. But also the role the mother plays in raising them.
