Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
My Prayer For Sunday, July 26, 2009
VERSE:
"For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; in the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock. And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me, and I will offer in His tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD."
Psalm 27:5-6
Prayer:
Father in Heaven, our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You for bringing us safely to the start of another week. Forgive all the times we sinned, and help us look back to Good Friday, when our sins were removed on Calvary's cross. Thank You that You granted us a peaceful weekend, safe in the knowledge of Your love for us Your children, Thank You Lord. We ask You Beloved Savior to keep our Brothers McNeal and Graham in Your care. You know what we all stand in need of, and we know that it is Your will that we all enjoy good health. So we are proclaiming health this day in Your Holy name, Christ Jesus. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You.
Lord You have told us through Your word that
our enemies who rise up against us will be defeated before us, and that they will come out against us one way and will flee before us seven ways, and that, no weapon that is formed against us will prosper; and every tongue that accuses us, in judgment You will condemn, and that this is the heritage of Your servants, and their vindication is from You. Thank You Lord, Thank You. Lord we know that, You will deliver us from the hand of all our enemies. So we do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. We wil not be afraid of sudden fear nor of the onslaught of the wicked when it comes; for we know You our LORD will be our confidence And will keep our foot from being caught.
You told us Lord that, all those who are angered at us will be shamed and dishonored; they will be as nothing and will perish, that we will seek those who quarrel with us, but will not find them, those who war with us will be as nothing and non-existent. Thank You Lord for saving us from our enemies, and from the hand of all who hate us. So that we confidently say, 'THE LORD IS OUR HELPER, WE WILL NOT BE AFRAID. WHAT WILL MAN DO TO US? Thank You Lord, Thank You.
Lord, give us strength and wisdom to lead lives that please You. As we read Your Word each day, teach us to distinguish more sharply between good and evil in the temptations we encounter. When we face choices you have left to our sanctified judgment, help us to recognize what is good, what is better, and what is best. Let us always choose what is best out of gratitude to You for giving us Christian liberty, and grant us that we, being rescued from the hand of our enemies, might serve You without fear. Thank You Lord that we have no fear of what man can do to us, for You did not give us a spirit of fear.
Jesus, Thank You for fellow Christians with whom we worship, sing Your praises, and hear Your Word. Through Your Word we are strengthened in faith for the daily duties of this week. Thank You Lord for all that You are doing for all of us Your children, and all that is already done. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You.
We Pray, asking and proclaiming all these things are already done, in Christ Jesus name,
