Objective: To create a unified team to fulfill prayer requests.

Challenge: Currently, if people are in need of prayer they often have no where to turn except for their home church, assuming they have one, and assuming their home church has something in place. Prayer should not be limited to those with a home church and prayer should be available from as many sources as possible, in time of need, with no restrictions. A unified team to reach out to the communities needs to be created to fill this gap. God blesses unity and so far there is no unified approach to offer this core value.

Another barrier in the past was that technology did no exist at a reasonable cost to facilitate such communication. That has changed. So, the only resources needed are volunteers to participate in the network.

Solution: With Communicate 2.0 a unified voice messaging system we can create a single 800 number to receive phone-in requests. Those prayer requests can be forwarded out to the affiliated pastors that subscribe to the system to be fulfilled.

As the network of Pastors grows and the requests grow we can work within the network to create area captains to help distribute these requests by geographic area if needed. This system can also be duplicated with volunteers in other states as well.

The system also has a multitude of other features to help improve networking amongst Pastors (Conference call, Web Conference, email scheduling). With the Communikate conference call feature. You will have the ability to hold informational conference calls and have up to 100 people listen live. You can also record those calls and store then in the systems conference bridge for 30 days for call-in play back.

The system also comes with a web-conference feature where a group can consult and share a presentation anywhere with internet access. You can have a total of 50 people on a web conference and 4 webcams running. This is great for facilitating face to face meetings with someone out of town.

Costs: Communikate has two pricing schemes (Full $40,95, Lite $30.95). The only difference between plans is that the “Lite” version tracks your phone-in usage (calling to check messages) to the system and will charge for additional minutes above 120 minutes per month. You can listen to all messages via the web interface at no additional charge. The Lite version is perfect for the actual request line. The person that monitors that line can do so over the web and does not have to call into the system.
