‘On Time God’
You’ve always been on time for me
Never late with things I need,
You’re there when others do not care
Thank-you ‘Lord’ You’re always there.
When I’m down or feeling blue
You’re there with me to see things through,
Sharing your love and precepts too
‘Father God’ You are so true.
Sad or happy, sickness and shame
‘Lord’ You’re always the same,
‘You’ never forget or turn away
You’re there for me all the way.
Wonderfully special in every way
Here’s looking forward to another day,
Being the “On Time God” that you are
From me ‘Lord’ You are not that far.
