Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
Our Prayer For Friday, July 31, 2009
VERSE:
Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. John 1:12-13
Prayer:
We come before You Lord with a grateful heart, giving You all the praise, for we know that, The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. We Give Thanks to You God, that You loved us so much that You took on flesh and blood, and came to earth through the bowels of a young virgin, and that You the Word became flesh, That You was in the world, and they knew you not, yet to all who received You, to those who believed in Your name, You The gave right to become children of God. Thank You Lord, and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You Lord, Thank You Lord, Oh Bless That wonderful name of Christ Jesus, The perfect lamp of God, that took away the sins of the world. Thank You Christ Jesus, you paid the price in full for us by the shading of Your blood on the cross. Thank You God, our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. Almighty God, Thank You for weekends--a time of rest and refreshment from our tasks. We are especially grateful for the spiritual refreshment You offer in Your Word. Give us wisdom and understanding through that Word so we may comfort one another. And make us bold to confess Your name in all our words and works. Lord Christ Jesus, our only Savior, we sincerely Thank You! In love You came to earth and in humility gave Your life as payment for our sins. Teach us each day to value Your work for us as our most precious treasure, and lead us to rely on You with our whole heart. Lord Christ Jesus, you are the everlasting Word who came to give us salvation. Today we Thank You because You continue to come to us through Your visible Word - the Bible. Use Your Word to strengthen our faith. Prepare our hearts to hear what pastors will say on Sunday so that we will put our confidence in only You. God, our refuge and strength, our ever-present help in trouble, where else can we look for strength and courage during these dark and frightening times than to You? Christ Jesus, Precious Savior, the great conqueror of sin, death, and hell, let Your Words of truth and love speak courage now to our troubled hearts. We are Yours. What can man do to us? Even as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we need fear no evil, for you are with us. You are the Lord of heaven and earth. Help us to be still and know that You are God, to trust that these times, too, are in Your hands. Empower and embolden us to face whatever lies ahead of us with a calm and steady faith that we may continue to be beacons of hope and inner peace in this world. Lord Thank You that You know each and everyone of our needs, Thank You Lord that Your will for us is already done! Thank You Lord that we are more then Conquers Through You who loves us, Thanks be unto God, That Greater is You that is in us, then he that is in this world. Thank You Lord, Christ Jesus, Thank You.
We Pray, proclaiming all that we have asked,
In the Holy name of Christ Jesus,
Is all ready done.
