Our Prayer For Friday November 6, 2009
VERSE:
Psalm 58 (King James Version)
Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men? Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth. The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stoppeth her ear; Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely. Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O LORD. Let them melt away as waters which run continually: when he bendeth his bow to shoot his arrows, let them be as cut in pieces. As a snail which melteth, let every one of them pass away: like the untimely birth of a woman, that they may not see the sun. Before your pots can feel the thorns, he shall take them away as with a whirlwind, both living, and in his wrath. The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked. So that a man shall say, Verily there is a reward for the righteous: verily he is a God that judgeth in the earth.
COMMENTARY:
Wicked judges described and reproved. When wrong is done under the form of law, it is worse than any other; especially it is grievous to behold those who profess to be children of God, joining together against any of His people. They go astray from God and their duty as soon as possibly they can. It is our duty to take pains to teach them, and above all, earnestly to Pray for converting grace to make our children new creatures. When the Savior's words are duly regarded, satan becomes harmless. But those who refuse to hear Heavenly wisdom, must perish miserably, for ever. David Prayed that the enemies of God's Church and people might be disabled to do further mischief. We may, in faith, Pray against the designs of the enemies of the Church. He foretells their ruin. And who knows the power of God's anger? The victories of the Just One, in His own person and that of His servants, over the enemies of man's Salvation, produce a joy which springs not from revenge, but from a view of the Divine Mercy, justice, and truth, shown in the Redemption of the elect, the punishment of the ungodly, and the fulfillment of the promises. Whoever duly considers these things, will diligently seek the reward of Righteousness, and adore the Providence which orders all thing aright in heaven and in earth. And we shall all be able to proclaim, and give Thanks unto the Lord; But now, thus says the Lord, your Creator, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel, 'Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine! When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you, But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one, Who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good?, The Lord will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul. The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forever.The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life; whom shall I dread?, For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.
PRAYER:
Almighty God, our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, we come into Your Holy presence this morning in Prayer and praise and Thanking You for all that You have done. For we shall Bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in our mouths, will extol You, my God, O King, and we will bless Your name forever and ever. Every day we will bless You, and we will praise Your name forever and ever. "Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised, and His greatness is unsearchable, one generation shall praise Your works to another, and shall declare Your mighty acts, on the glorious splendor of Your majesty and on Your wonderful works, we will meditate. Men shall speak of the power of Your awesome acts, and we will tell of Your greatness, Paise the LORD! Praise the LORD from the heavens; praise Him in the heights! Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His hosts! Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all stars of light! Praise Him, highest heavens, and the waters that are above the heavens!, Let them praise the name of the LORD, for He commanded and they were created. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. Father we are so grateful to you that You woke us up this morning and, that we are all in our right minds and they are stayed on You, Thank You that no harm, or danger has come near any of our doors, Thank You that You have gone in to the hospitals, sick rooms, prisons, and healed, and gave comfort, to those who stand in need of You care. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. Thank You Lord Father God, that you chose us to be your own, called us by name, and You love us, and because You know that none of us are perfect, You gave us a way out. You forgave us all of our sins, by coming to earth and Your shading of Your blood and death, to take the punishment for all the wrongs we have done, and as if that wasn't enough, You rose again and has prepared a place for us to live with You, in our eternal paradise. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, for You have given us the victory over sin and death. Thank You Father God, our Lord Christ Jesus. Beloved Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, we Thank You Precious Lord, that Your Blessed Holy Spirit will be with us as we share this awesome message with others, as we go forth doing Your will, this Sunday and every day for the rest of our lives. Thank You Father, that their will not be one Prayer, Word spoken, healings proclaimed, note song, in Your Holy name on Your behalf, that will come back void. Thank You most Holy Lord and Savior our God, that You go before us, making every crooked road straight, and that we are sure that we have a good conscience, desiring to conduct ourselves honorably in all things, therefore, laying aside falsehood, speak truth each one of us with his neighbor, for we are members of one another, Since we have this ministry, as we received mercy, we do not lose heart, but we have renounced the things hidden because of shame, not walking in craftiness or adulterating the word of God, but by the manifestation of truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. O' Bless That Wonderful name of Christ Jesus, the only name by which any man can be saved. Thank You Lord, Thank You. we Lord, have no fear of any man, we know for sure that You have placed a hedge of protection around our, Your Holy Churches, our families, homes, and all of our concerns. we stand in this assurance for You have told us, promised us, that; The LORD helps them and delivers them, He delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in Him, Those who hate you will be clothed with shame, and the tent of the wicked will be no longer, The LORD shall cause your enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you; they will come out against you one way and will flee before you seven ways, For the LORD your God is the one who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you, In famine He will redeem you from death, and in war from the power of the sword, No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their vindication is from Me,' declares the LORD, The LORD is for me among those who help me; therefore I will look with satisfaction on those who hate me, To grant us that we, being rescued from the hand of our enemies, might serve Him without fear,So that we confidently say, 'THE LORD IS MY HELPER, I WILL NOT BE AFRAID. WHAT WILL MAN DO TO ME? All Glory To You our Lord and Savior, our El-Shaddai, our Jehovah-Ropheka, our Jehovah-Jireh. Blessed be the God and Father, and the Holy Spirit of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has Blessed us with every Spiritual Blessing in the Heavenly places in Christ. Lord we know that Your Grace and Mercy abounds on our lives, and You have told us; For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; for it will certainly come, it will not delay, Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful, For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until the end, Prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror; for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of person he was, Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight, Therefore, I exhort the elders among you, as your fellow elder and witness of the sufferings of Christ, and a partaker also of the glory that is to be revealed, shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not for sordid gain, but with eagerness; nor yet as lording it over those allotted to your charge, but proving to be examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory, we are ready to do Your will. Thank You Lord, that You have filled us, with Your Holy Spirit, and You will be with us where ever we are sent. Thank You Lord and Savior. And we Pray Father, that the Words of our mouths, and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable to You, our God, who is Lord of our lives. Have Your way with us Lord, Thank You Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You.
Now unto You, who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to You be the power and glory, to all generations forever and ever. Who has by the shading of Your Blood on the Cross, and raising from the grave, has proven Yourself, to be more then able to keep us, until the day of Your coming. Today and everyday, for the rest of our lives, we give Thanks unto You, most Beloved Christ Jesus. we demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. Father, i in the Holy and Blessed name of Christ Jesus, who is Lord of my life, proclaim that our Prayer, and all we ask is already done, for we ask in Your most Precious Holy name, and i commend each and everyone of Your children's body and souls into Your loving, mighty hands, our Beloved Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, Who is Lord Of Our Lives. Thank You Beloved Savior, Thank You.
