Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
Our Prayer For Today: Friday June 05, 2009
VERSE:
Bless the LORD who satisfies your desires with good things so
that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. Psalm 103:5
THOUGHT:
God is a God of renewal and blessing. His desire to renew and
bless us is not just a desire to bless us just once with our
salvation. God desires to bless us daily. His steadfast love is new
every morning as he faithfully pours out his blessings (cf. Lam.
3:23). But more than just giving us what we want, he satisfies us
with good things. He brings us what we need and what truly fills
our emptiness.
PRAYER:
Abba Father, Almighty God, our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Lord God I thank you that you have kept me through the night from all harm and danger. I am grateful you have brought us to the start of a new day. Truly Your mercies are new every morning. Your love covers the sins of yesterday and Your promises give us hope for today. We praise You for Your power, majesty, glory, faithfulness, mercy, wisdom, and grace. Thank You Lord God, for Blessing us with Your salvation, the gift of Your Holy Spirit, the Blessings of Your church family, the promise of a home with You, and for the daily assurance of Your renewing presence.
Lord Christ Jesus, \Thank You for the miracle of Pentecost. Thank You for the Holy Spirit, our Comforter, our Counselor, our Encourager. Continue to pour out Your Holy Spirit so that the lost are saved and the saved are strengthened. Bless the work of our Ministers, Pastors, and missionaries. Send your Holy Spirit so that the power of Satan is overcome by the power of God, and that they are mindful, that "Greater is He that is in them, then he that is in this world". Lord I stand in the gap this day, asking You in the Holy and Precious name of Christ Jesus, to please handle the many problems many of us your children are facing. Lighten the burdens that weigh heavy on our hearts. Give special help to those of us who are struggling. Grant us a Spirit of joy as we dedicate our lives to You.
I ask and Pray these things, in the Holy and powerful
name of Christ Jesus, believing that they are already done.
Into Your hands I commit my body and soul and all things.
Thank You, my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus,
Thank You, Bless That Wonderful name of Jesus
Into Your hands I commit my body and soul and all things.
