Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer
Our Prayer For Wednesday, July 29, 2009
VERSE:
"I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13
Prayer:
Dearest Lord Christ Jesus, we are reminded by You through the Word to "cast all our anxiety on You, for You do care for us." At this time, when we are not sure what to do, and even wonder where to turn, we know that we can and are to turn to You. Thank You Lord, and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. Strengthen our understanding so that we can see what You are doing for us. Focus our attention, not on what seems to be going wrong, but on what is right. For through You, Dear Lord, we know that we are forgiven and saved, we are going to spend eternity in Heaven. Until that moment, help us to trust in You, and love You, with all of our heart, mind, soul, and strength, so that nothing ever can separate us from Your proven love. We ask this in your name Lord Christ Jesus, for You have told us "He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power. Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, they will walk and not become weary."
"Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win. Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. They then do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. "Therefore I run in such a way, as not without aim; I box in such a way, as not beating the air; but I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified." "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." We love You Lord, and desire to do Your Will.
Almighty Lord and Savior,Christ Jesus, every day we fight evil in our lives, arm and equip us with your own weapons for those battles. Teach us to wear the shield of faith and the helmet of salvation and to use effectively the "sword of the Spirit," which is Your Holy Word. Use Your power to keep us safe until we live eternally safe with You in Heaven. Let us hear Your voice, Lord. Reassure us that You, my Savior is able and anxious to cover our every sin. May Your watchful eyes be over us and our loved ones to protect us from evil and harm. Lord Christ Jesus, Thank You, for remembering those whose are hurting. Thank You for being with the sick and afflicted, and comfort the dying. Lord Christ Jesus, Thank You that You, have given us Your Grace for Your sake. Lord Christ Jesus, our Good Shepherd, hear our Prayers of Thanksgiving for all Your Mercies today. Thank You for Your Blessings of forgiveness, hope, renewal, and care. Watch over us and every one we love. Thank You Lord Christ Jesus, Thank You. Thank You, Lord, we love You, and need You.
I commend us all to your divine care. Believing by Faith that all we ask for is already done, In the name of Christ Jesus!
