Spreading God's Love Thru Prayer

Study to show yourself approved unto God.

"Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of truth." 2 Timothy 2:15

Watching the news earlier today I was encouraged to see another high profile actress defecting from the Church of Scientology. Of course seeing any one being freed from bondage is gratifying, but unfortunately it only becomes newsworthy when it is someone of celebrity status. By her account and that of others who have left, she could no longer tolerate the cultish teachings under the guise of "religion."

This is not an attempt to put one set of religious groups against another. I personally don't adhere to the teaching that any one group teaches "The Truth." If whatever is being taught does not line up with the Word of God, then it for me is erroneous. And that means not just teaching the "law's of God", but rightly interpreting and teaching the "intent of the letter of law."

Knowledge is what you know. Wisdom is the capacity to judge. Wisdom is knowing what to know, how much and what to do with it. Knowledge is obtained.

Satan corrupts the mind with doctrinal errors. First, Satan labors to corrupt the mind with erroneous principles. Omit or add words to Scripture to transform you to their doctrine. This in effect is dishonest counterfeit teaching that puts people under bondage here on earth and send souls to hell in the after life.

This is why we are admonished to "Study"...not just "read" the Word...And if we really study we will more accurately "rightly divide the Word" rather than wrongly do so which too often is the case.

Prayer:
Father, I stretch my hands to Thee, no other help I know. Open my eyes that I may see the visions of Truth You have for me. Teach me Your truths that I might be free to be all You would have me to be. Save me from the bondage of false doctrines and gross inaccuracies dressed up to entice me and ultimately destroy me. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

If we humble ourselves and seek God's will to be done in our lives - then we can submit our gifts, our callings, our anointings - everything to God, and wait on the Lord God to show us the truth we need for now.
