Luke 2
History
Birth of Jesus
In those days Caesar Augustus (Octavian) ordered a census to be carried to all people and all that was required to go to the city or the people of their own families, to record the taxes imposed by the Romans. Joseph, being of the house and lineage of David had to go from Nazareth in Galilee to Bethlehem in Judea, about 6 miles from Jerusalem.
It was late afternoon when they arrived and there was no room for them in the inn.
Joseph went and found a place in a stable, a cave in the mountainside. At that time, houses and barns were often located in caves in connection with each other.
It was near dusk when they entered the cave. It is said that Joseph was to find a midwife and found a woman, Hebrew, which was from Jerusalem. They were in the cave after sunset. When they entered, they saw that the place was full of light. It was so intense they could not see, was brighter than the Sun Jesus was born around midnight. During delivery the place was full of incandescent light. Then decreased and could see Maria with the child in his arms breastfeeding. The midwife was very grateful for the privilege of witnessing. Gave praise and thanks, and was cured of a long illness by touching the child.
This shows how the action of Christ of which Jesus was a focus, and then started acting before I came through the conscious action of the physical body. Can act in time without the external address of the person or having the understanding or even knowledge of it.
At the time of the birth of Jesus, an angel appeared to the shepherds who tended their flocks in the fields that were around. The angel said to them in Bethlehem, the town of David, was born a Savior, who was Christ, and they find the child lying in a crib. She then appeared with the angel a multitude of beings singing his praises."Glory to God in the Highest, and Peace on Earth to Men of Good Will." In this chorus, the shepherds heard joyful singing hosannas of "Peace on earth to men of Goodwill" was really the celebration of Victoria Festival of the Christ "which had been held for ages in the highest areas by those who had achieved their liberation through individual effort. Its radiation was the joy that was communicated to the shepherds by the Angelic Choir. That's why the shepherds heard choirs were not actually on the birth of Jesus, and that the design had been estimated that his birth coincided with the annual rejoicing domestic levels. As more and more one understands the spiritual meaning of Christmas, the experience of awareness of their oneness with God the Father, will be made manifest. "Father" means a builder.
When the angels left, the shepherds went to Bethlehem to see him. They found Mary, Joseph and the baby in the crib. The cellar was a temple for them, by the discharge of radiation made by the presence of the Divine Beings. After seeing the child, they knew that the Angel had told them referring to him all this, was a manifestation of God.The star appeared and was seen over the stable, not only by shepherds, but also by others in the inn. They saw a brilliant light, and felt the vibrations, that generated a sense of wonder. This star was Jesus' own Divine Being, that is, a radiation, a manifestation of His Own Christ. It's the same star that the Magi saw in their countries, and which continued to where the Christ child would be born.
He was called Jesus, as the Archangel Gabriel had said. According to Jewish custom, after the birth of a child, the mother had to be isolated for forty days, and for that period could not be admitted into the temple or participate in any activities. Forty days after birth, led him to the temple in Jerusalem to perform the rituals used, according to the Law of Moses, and Jesus was consecrated. While they were there, a priest named Simeon of Jerusalem, also came to the temple. He had been sent to the site by divine counsel to see the baby Jesus. Simeon, in his youth, he had prayed to see the Messiah, and it was revealed that Jesus would be. When Mary came very happy holding Jesus in her arms, Simeon was in a pillar of Light, with guardian angels around them. This cheered him greatly as it was the culmination of your search. He recognized the infant Jesus as the Christ, the Being that he was looking for, and called on them the blessings of God. After this time he saw that he was ready to leave this world in peace. In the temple, a respected prophetess named Anna, who was also recognized the child really.
