THE CHURCH OF TODAY

In the past, up to the 70’s, we gave and gave to third world ministries. We supported them with money prayers missionaries and so much more. We gave when we did not have much ourselves, AND GOD BLESSED THE WESTERN CHURCH. The church was strong. We evangelised everywhere we went and God blessed all we did.


Today, we sow to ministries that promise we will get a one hundred fold increase on our money. THAT’S IMPOTANT!! We tell those frontline ministries even in our own countries, to pray more so God can bless them. We hear of third world churches, who have taken in aids orphans they can't feed, and pray for God to help them, but give little.


In the west sound, we need bigger, better systems, churches, the best this and that, and we must keep up with all the latest in all the other churches around us, as we fear loosing people. YET THE CHURCH TODAY IN THE WEST IS WEAK, INEFFECTIVE AND REGARDED AS IRRELAVANT IN WORLD AROUND US.


WHEN READING PAULS EPISTLES, WE SEE HOW THEY GAVE IN TIMES OF NEED TO EACH OTHER AND GOD BLESSED. THE 3rd WORLD CHURCH is then in danger of resenting the West for its lack of mercy and hard heart. Then as resentment, etc., takes root in its heart this can then cut them off from the revival they are presently experiencing. They need to forgive and bless the western church for its lack of love and hard heart everyday, thereby pouring hot coals on their western counterparts, lest they loose the anointing of God from their own church.

Yes the western church is rich, having need of nothing, but can't see that it is naked, poor, blind and pitiful. LET US THEN RETURN TO THE LORD BE OBEDIENT TO HIM AND HIS COMMANDS FOLLOW HIS WAY. TO OBEY IS BETTER THAN SACRIFIC. LET US TAKE OUR EYES OF $$$$ MONEY AND FOCUS ON JESUS. THE MONEY SYSTEM OF THIS WORLD IS UNDER A CURSE AT THIS TIME... I WONDER WHY?
