Come, let us worship and bow down and kneel before the Lord our Maker. For he is our God. Psalm 95:6-7.
To him who sits on the throne, and unto the Lamb be praise and honor, glory and power. Revelation 5:13.
Who has not felt his littleness in the infinity of the starry sky? What should we say when we recognize that we are in the presence of God? Do we dare to look up, open our lips? However, this God so great, so powerful, who judges all, it is also revealed that men and the God of love and we can trust Him. With admiration we bow before Him who surpasses all. This is worship. While expressing a few words, the soul is full of greatness and unfathomable love of God.
Worship is to honor, homage, submission and admiration for God. In Scripture, the word translated "worship" evokes the gesture of bowing, prostrating, with a feeling of deep respect. Only God has the right to worship. This is expressed by showing, by words or by silence, by our respectful submission to Him, who is known as infinitely just and good, superior to man.
Worship is not an optional activity. It is a duty to God and also a great privilege. Worship is directed to God the Father and His Son, who revealed the Father in all that He is: Light and Love Through Jesus our praise goes to the Father. Begun in the earth, worship will continue well into the sky and all eternity.
