Our Prayer For Friday December 4, 2009
VERSE:
Psalm 76 (King James Version)
In Judah is God known: his name is great in Israel. In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion. There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah. Thou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey. The stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands. At thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep. Thou, even thou, art to be feared: and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry? Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still, When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah. Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain. Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared. He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.
COMMENTARY:
The psalmist speaks of God's power. Happy people are those who have their land filled with the knowledge of God! happy persons that have their hearts filled with that knowledge! It is the glory and happiness of a people to have God among them by his ordinances. Wherein the enemies of the church deal proudly, it will appear that God is above them. See the power of God's rebukes. With pleasure may Christians apply this to the advantages bestowed by the Redeemer. All have to fear and to trust in him. God's people are the meek of the earth, the quiet in the land, that suffer wrong, but do none. The righteous God seems to keep silence long, yet, sooner or later, he will make judgment to be heard. We live in an angry, provoking world; we often feel much, and are apt to fear more, from the wrath of man. What will not turn to his praise, shall not be suffered to break out. He can set bounds to the wrath of man, as he does to the raging sea; hitherto it shall come, and no further. Let all submit to God. Our prayers and praises, and especially our hearts, are the presents we should bring to the Lord. His name is glorious, and he is the proper object of our fear. He shall cut off the spirit of princes; he shall slip it off easily, as we slip off a flower from the stalk, or a bunch of grapes from the vine; so the word signifies. He can dispirit the most daring: since there is no contending with God, it is our wisdom, as it is our duty, to submit to him. Let us seek his favor as our portion, and commit all our concerns to him.
PRAYER:
Most Holy and Precious Father God, our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus. we come into Your Holy presence this day, Thanking You for all of the love and Mercy that You have shown us Your children. we Thank You for waking us up this morning and for not allowing any harm or danger to come unto our door, we Thank You Lord, that we woke up in our right minds, and that they are stayed on You, the author and finisher of our faith. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You Father God. Most Blessed Lord God, we know that through some word, deed, or thought, that we have sinned against You, and we confess this sin, and ask Your forgiveness. Thank Father God, our Lord and Savior that You have already paid in full the debt for all the sins of this world on the cross, and that the shading of Your blood, has washed us clean for the stain of sin forever. For we know also that You, our God requires confession of sin as the means of maintaining a close personal walk with You, that You require a continual acknowledgement of Your rulership and confession of our sins is the means by which we express our yieldedness and surrender to Your sovereign will. Thank You God, Thank You Beloved Savior, that we are no longer under the law, but as Your children we live under Grace, so we know that our sins are forgiven. we love You Lord God, and desire only Your cleansing, and to be removed from the condition of discipline, where chastening is no longer being administered, and the hindrances to the Ministry of the Blessed Holy Spirit are removed. Thank You Father that we are able to do that which You have for us to do, for You have told us that we can do all things through You who strengthens us. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, that greater is You who is in us, then he that is in this world, Thank You Father God, our Lord Christ Jesus, that Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will not take into account. O' BLESS THAT WONDERFUL NAME OF CHRIST JESUS, THE ONLY NAME BY WHICH ANY MAN CAN BE SAVED. Blessed be the LORD, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He promised; not one word has failed of all His good promise, which He promised through Moses His servant, Your loving kindness, O LORD, extends to the heavens, Your faithfulness reaches to the skies, I will sing of the loving kindness of the LORD forever; to all generations I will make known Your faithfulness with my mouth. For I have said, "Loving kindness will be built up forever; in the heavens You will establish Your faithfulness. But I will not break off My loving kindness from him, nor deal falsely in My faithfulness. My covenant I will not violate, nor will I alter the utterance of My lips, Let the peoples praise You, O God; let all the peoples praise You. Let the nations be glad and exult for You rule the world with justice. With fairness You rule the peoples, You guide the nations on earth. The earth has yielded its fruit for You our God, has Blessed us, May You Father God still give us Your Blessings. LET EVERYTHING THAT HAS BREATH PRAISE YOU OUR LORD. Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, we know that their are many that stand in need of You help, we ask that You touch the hearts of every man and woman to reach out and be of assistance to someone who needs help. Father Bless, the man and woman that are sick, unemployed, those that have addictions, the marriages that need to be mended. Thank You Lord God, Thank You our most Precious Savior Christ Jesus. Lord God, our Savior Christ Jesus, we Thank You that You have already sent the Blessed Holy Spirit ahead of every man and woman, child that will Pray, speak, sang, a word in Your behalf this Sunday, and that not one Word shall come back void. Thank You Lord and Savior that; "Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Just as it is written, 'For your sake we are being put to death all day long, we were considered as sheep to be slaughtered.' "In all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord, Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary, As for you, brethren, do not grow weary of doing good, You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus, You, however, continue in the things you have learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have learned them, Christ was faithful as a Son over His house--whose house we are, if we hold fast our confidence and the boast of our hope firm until the end. Therefore, just as the Holy Spirit says, 'Today is you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as when they provoked Me, as in the day of trial in the wilderness, Since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ, Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you, Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord, Examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, for we know that not even satan himself can prevail against the gates of the Church. Thank You Lord, that we have Your protection and that our families are safe, our homes are safe, our finances are safe, and that No weapon that is formed against us will prosper; and every tongue that accuses us in judgment You will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their vindication is from Me,' You, declared as our LORD. Thank You Beloved Savior Christ Jesus, Thank You. Thank You that You that we know because You told us; "The LORD is for me among those who help me; therefore I will look with satisfaction on those who hate me, To grant us that we, being rescued from the hand of our enemies, might serve Him without fear, For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest upon the land of the righteous, so that the righteous will not put forth their hands to do wrong, For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; in the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock. And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me, and I will offer in His tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD, When a man's ways are pleasing to the LORD, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him, His heart is upheld, he will not fear, until he looks with satisfaction on his adversaries, Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord...because we are members of His body, Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God, That their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God's mystery, that is, Christ Himself, Therefore if there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and compassion, make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose, Let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near, For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek, For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God, For the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power, We have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves, For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses, That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner man, Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might, For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline. Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord or of me His prisoner, but join with me in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God, Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. "And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints. Thank You Lord and Savior Christ Jesus, our Father in Heaven, Thank You. we Pray that our words, and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable unto You, our Father God, Christ Jesus, Holy Spirit, who is Lord of our lives.
Now unto You, who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to You be the power and glory, to all generations forever and ever. Who has by the shading of Your Blood on the Cross, and raising from the grave, has proven Yourself, to be more then able to keep us, until the day of Your coming. Today and everyday, for the rest of our lives. i stand in the gap for all of those in this place, and give Thanks unto You, most Beloved Christ Jesus. we demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. Father, i in the Holy and Blessed name of Christ Jesus, who is Lord of my life, proclaim that our Prayer, and all we ask is already done, for we ask in Your most Precious Holy name, and i commend each and everyone of Your children's body and souls into Your loving, mighty hands, our Beloved Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, Who is Lord Of Our Lives. Thank You Beloved Savior, Thank You.
