" AND IN THAT DAY THOU SHALT SAY, O' ADONAI, I WILL PRAISE THEE; THOUGH THOU WAST ANGRY WITH ME, THINE ANGER IS TURNED AWAY, AND THOU COMFORTEDST ME.
BEHOLD, ELOHIYM IS MY SALVATION. I WILL TRUST AND NOT BE AFRAID; FOR THE ADONAI YHVH IS MY STRENGTH AND MY SONG; HE ALSO IS BECOME MY SALVATION.
THEREFORE WITH JOY SHALL YE DRAW WATER OUT OF THE WELLS OF SALVATION.
AND IN THAT DAY SHALL YE SAY, PRAISE THE ADONAI, CALL UPON HIS NAME, DECLARE HIS DOINGS AMONG THE PEOPLE,MAKE MENTION THAT HIS NAME IS EXALTED. SING UNTO THE ADONAI; FOR HE HATH DONE EXCELLENT THINGS; THIS IS KNOWN IN ALL THE EARTH.
CRY OUT AND SHOUT, THOU INHABITANT OF ZION; FOR GREAT IS THE HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL IN THE MIDST OF THEE. "
Though this is one of the shortest chapters in the book of Isaiah, its one of the more powerful. Though the writer is feeling forsaken, though he admits the sin of the people that brought on the wrath of Elohiym, he goes into a praise and a worship. Not being haughty or pious, but knowing that he knows the character and love of their Elohiym, their Father! and so he can go right ahead and look forward to "that day" when everything will be all good again. But notice it all starts with the praise! The rememberance and the assurance of love. No parent just throws their child away even when they make them angry. But with humility and confession of wrong, you know they had the right to be upset anyway, with repentance and a kiss,,,,,,, well you maybe as a parent that loves your child know the rest.
Shabbat Shalom
