" BLESSED IS THE MAN (iysh-he will stand out) THAT WALKETH (carry along) NOT IN THE COUNSEL (purpose) OF THE UNGODLY (hostile or a criminal to Elohiym-God) NOR STANDETH (hold ones ground) IN THE WAY (manner of moral character) OF SINNERS (offenders) NOR SITTETH (dwell, remain, abide) IN THE SEAT (to dwell) OF THE SCORNFUL (talk arrogantly)."
It's a wonderful situation we are in when truth enters into our lives. There is such liberty in it for the soul. But when truth causes you to look down on your brethren, righteous positioning may be in question. The place we sit is not in the throne of grace, but in the seat of the arrogant. Self is now exalted instead of Messiah. The purpose and the plan have alot to do with this abomination (proverbs 24:9). Mockers are those that speak highly of themselves and debase their brothers. These are not good learners unless the teaching has something to do with exalting themselves (Proverbs 9:8).
But the wise have a totally different attitude.
" GIVE INSTRUCTION TO A WISE MAN AND HE WILL BE YET WISER; TEACH A JUST MAN AND HE WILL INCREASE IN LEARNING." Proverbs 9:9
They recieve whats of the spirit, trying the spirit by the spirit. If wrong is even shown they are blessed in the fact that they have even recieved at all. It's good to know wrong as well as the right. Has the Adonai every told you not to do something that you were greatful about later? Those of us that have been directed, guided and led, should be able to lead others into the beauty of the kingdom. Not by scorning, mocking, or arrogance,,, whats the purpose?
Where is our seat? Our dwelling place?
" THEREFORE THE UNGODLY SHALL NOT STAND IN THE JUDGEMENT, NOT SINNERS IN THE CONGREGATION OF THE RIGHTEOUS." Psalms 1:5
for the spirit goes on further to say by the mouth of Solomon the wise,,,,, that these shall be cast out, along with their contentions (divisions), and their strife (disputes) and their reproach (shame and disgrace).
Think Solomon the wisest of the wise might have known what he was talking about? He himself might have been made a testimony of such things.Did he too have to learn how to be wise? Where did he end up? Well we know the story. But it's not because he did'nt know any better. For he saw the way of the righteous, so lets end up on a good note.....
"BUT HIS DELIGHT IS IN THE LAW OF THE YHVH (LORD): AND IN HIS LAW DOES HE MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT. AND HE SHALL BE LIKE A TREE PLANTED BY THE RIVERS OF LIVING WATERS, THAT BRINGETH FORTH HIS FRUIT IN HIS SEASON; HIS LEAF ALSO SHALL NOT WHITHER AND WHATSOEVER HE DOETH SHALL PROSPER." Psalms 1:2-3
Lets stand out for the right purpose and follow the plan that was formed from the beginning of time, by our Adonai, our YHVH Elohiym (JEHOVAH God). Truth is the foundation of his throne, but mocking is the throne of satan. Beware!
Shabbat Shalom
