(Heh)
Teach me, ADONAI (LORD), the way of your laws; keeping them will be its own reward for me.
Give me understanding; then I will keep your Torah (Law); I will observe it with all my heart.
Guide me on the path of your mitzvot (commandments), for I take pleasure in it.
Bend my heart toward your instructions and not toward selfish gain.
Turn my eyes away from worthless things; with your ways, give me life.
Fulfill your promise, which you made to your servant, which you made to those who fear you.
Avert the disgrace which I dread, for your rulings are good.
See how I long for your precepts; in your righteousness, give me life!
May your grace come to me, ADONAI (LORD), your salvation, as you promised;
then I will have an answer for those who taunt me; for I trust in your word.
Don't take away completely my power to speak the truth; for I put my hope in your rulings;
and I will keep your Torah (Law) always, forever and ever.
I will go wherever I like, for I have sought your precepts.
I will speak of your instructions even to kings without being ashamed.
I will delight myself in your mitzvot (commandments), which I have loved.
I will lift my hands to your mitzvot (commandments), which I love; and I will meditate on your laws.
As we spend our time in meditation, may we take notice that the author of this stanza of this psalms gives us some wonderful key points that illustrate a successful path in our Salvation walk,,,,,
Teach- Let me know those things that I need in life.
Give- From thee greatest gift giver of all (John 3;16)
Guide-Lead us in the path of righteousness for your name sake.
Bend-We can not be so stiff that we are'nt pliable to his instruction.
Turn-Anyway he leads we'll follow.
Fulfill- He is Truth, Faith, Righteousness and our Hope, He will finish the good works he has started.
Avert-keep us from temptation and deliver us from evil.
Once these things be done in us by the grace and mercy established for his glory,,, we can shout as with a trump,,,,I will, I will, yes Adonai (Lord) Jesus I will!!!!
Shabbat Shalom
