" A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
But I say unto you, That every idle word that *men shall speak , they shall give account thereof *in the day of judgment.
For by thy words thou shalt be justified , and by thy words thou shalt be condemned."
What is the cost of a word? Can anyone put a value on them? A word that can move around the material realm, and touch on the infinite. O' my do we take them at what their worth? Our Adonai speaks of such words, not just any ordinary ones that just blow away in the wind or bend a reed. The ones Adonai Yahshua (Lord Jesus) is speaking of are accounted to him. A logos in the greek, the powerful adages that were first mounted in the universe by thee Logos.
Now we should inquire about what makes these logos idle?
" Be ye doers of the word (logos) and not just hearers only, be ye not decieved." James 1:22
He wants to know that action took place and what kind of action came from the understanding of the heart. How we recieve has to do with the heart. But how we put them back out is even more important. Are we using his infinite words for good or for evil?
There is power in the logos of Elohiym (God) and he himself said it shall not go void, but that they would perform and do,,,, can we fathom that?
What else would be worthy enough to be weighed and tried by the Almighty himself. Judgement or condemnation? As we take this under consideration of what Messiah is saying, May we first be able to comprehend their worth then and only then can we make a choice to use them for the good of the hearers.
For this we are responsible.
How will we use the talents the King gave us? Then lastly to add the proper context of whats evaluated, Who's word it is should be enough. May the Adonai (Lord) bless not only the hearers but the doers of his Word, this is how we are graced with the honor to tap into the Creator. Our greatfulness and it's value to us will be manifest from the heart.
Shabbat Shalom
