Tough Job-but somebody has to do it !

The Prophetic mantle is not one of ease. it requires diligence, tenacity, discernment,

and spiritual warfare. We represent the mouth, eyes, and ears of the Lord. We hear

the spirit, see the spirit, and speak from the spirit of God; Not from our own intellect.

We never operate through emotions or feelings. We do not prophesy on the basis of

our own feelings, nor correct in our own anger, but embrace the total persona of the

Lord Jesus Christ. Our spirits never are to be:

- unruly

- self-willed

- proud

*We must personify all fruits of the spirit

*true prophets do not charge or take gifts as this would persuade them

*they must be totally the property of the Lord

*we take our assignment from the Lord and not because of popularity of place or

           person involved

*never us gifts for:

         -vain glory

         -acknowledgement

         -popularity

         -praise

One of the main jobs of the Prophet is to be Remnant Spiritual Warriors. For the

Remnant, spritiual warfare is not an option, it is a vital part of our journey. This

is an area that is much overlooked in the contemporary church of today. They do

not teach or practice this due to lack of knowledge or fear. Some go so far as to

equate the supernatural to superstition.

The gift of discernment is a must for the Remant. it begins with a stirring when

something is not right. With time, it becomes more acute. "... and to another the

working of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of

spirits..." ( 1 Corinthians 12:10) When a gift is ignored, then evil has a chance to

creep in and infect the Body of Christ.

These spiritual battles are fought on Two Fronts:

*1) trying to warn and help guide believers

*2) interceding on behalf of believers

All this is used to help keep the darkness from trying to destroy believers. Our chief

weapon is Spirit-filed Prayer.

Let's take a look at the Metamorphosis of a Prophet. There are rules so to speak, that

every Prophet must adhere to. See if any of these are recognizable below:

     1. Submit to ministry. The five-fold Ministry as designed by Jesus Christ here on

            earth.

     2. Give yourself to a seasoned Prophet, apprecticeship to learn, watch and grow

            into maturity.

     3. Submit to a life of prayer, fasting,seeking the Lord daily. God beyond the walls

           of the church and bible study- into your secret closet with God to spend

           quality time.

     4. Follow into mentorship, school of ministry, bible college, seminary to get a more

           detailed understanding of the Word of God and how it is applied.

Our goal as Prophets is to perform competently and confidently.

Our purpose is to press in to the deep knowledge of Jesus christ.

The mantle of the Prophet is an official garment . A symbol of God's gift to the

Body of Christ, a noted expression of sacrifice and committment. Throwing it over

the shoulders of the prophet symbolizes the announcement of acceptance of the call.

One is called into full service as a representative of the lifestyle. Good stewardship.

"A Remnant on its knees is more powerful than an army on its feet."

When the Remnant sees something that is not of God, it is their duty and the

responsibility to intercede of  the behaklf of the body in spite of internal doubt or

external factors. It is commanded through and by God.

Prophet's in Spiritual Warfare, do everything through the Name of , and  in the power

and guidance of Jesus Christ, with complete humility and steadfast obedience. This is

the task put before the Prophet. It must be fulfilled. To aid in the areas of Power and

Proptection, I have listed some helpful scriptures below. Use these to aid in building
