Hosea 10:12 (KJV)

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

Life’s circumstances tend to get us down, and we have a hard time destroying the walls that we have built to insulate us from the hurt and pain we have experienced. However, in order for God to reach us, we have to tear down and break up the stony and calloused places in the inner recesses of our heart. We must allow the healing balm of the Lord to change us from being broken and bruised to whole and healthy again.
