Psalms 12:6 (NRSV)
The promises of the Lord are promises that are pure, silver refined in a furnace on the ground, purified seven times.
With You, dear Lord, a promise made is a promise kept. There is no question of Your faithfulness in keeping Your word. You have a perfect track record. That's why there is every reason for me to trust You today - to trust that You will keep Your word and carry out Your good purposes for my life as I keep my focus on You. Help me to be patient and faithful as I wait for the fulfillment of Your pure and perfect promises.
