Leviticus 19:11

Leviticus 19:11 (NIV)

“Do not steal. Do not lie. Do not deceive one another.”

Some people may have a checklist, ready to stand before the Lord, saying, “Ok, I haven’t done this or that.” When you come to the realization that you don’t have to physically go to a store to steal, nor do you have to utter a boldfaced lie, or even openly try to be deceptive. There are things called sins of omission and sins of commission. Be honest, can any of us look in the mirror and say that we haven’t been guilty of doing that at one point or another? That’s why we must continue to be on our faces before God, begging for forgiveness, even for the things that we haven’t committed to memory.
