Psalms 145:8 (KJV)

The Lord is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

We don’t realize how loving and gracious God is to us. He doesn’t deal with our sins the way they really deserve. Sin separates us from God, but in His compassion, He gave us Jesus Christ, our risen Lord and Savior, as an advocate to go to when we need redemption.
