Daddy's gone to be with Jesus as of this morning.

The Lord ushered my daddy into his new home this morning and the angels are rejoicing over his arrival. Even though I am crying as I write this, I sorrow not as the world does because I know that daddy is with Jesus now and not suffering anymore. Daddy battle cancer and the prognosis he was given years ago was that the cancer was terminal. By Christmas of 2007 he was suppose to have been gone, but Jesus was merciful and the LORD extended his life a couple of   years so that he could have more time with his children. I will treasure that time forever.  The cancer came back this year with a vengeance , but my daddy was a soldier through it all because of our Jesus living inside of him. My dad fought a good fight and he kept the faith through it all. The LORD is so good. A few weeks ago God allowed the impossible to happen. My dad got out of his bed and went to church. Being there on Communion Sunday was vital to him. He had certain goals he wanted to accomplish before the LORD took him and he said that he accomplished them all and now he was ready to go   when the LORD took him. My precious Lord sent my sister who preceded my dad in death years ago to talk with him and walk with him into the hands of Jesus. What a glorious homecoming. I thank Jesus for doing it this way. I thank Him for my dad's life on earth and I will miss his strong voice, but I am glad for the assurance that he is walking on streets of gold this morning and will be living in the place that Jesus prepared for him. I praise God from whom all blessings flow.
