2 Chronicles 15:2 (NIV)

…The Lord is with you when you are with him.  If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.

If you’ve ever watched the Ten Commandments, there is a point where Moses is standing with the multitude of Israel at the parting of the Red Sea, and he says, “Who is on the Lord’s side…let him come to me.”  This is where the rubber meets the road in our walk with God.  It’s pretty simple.  We don’t have to have a big cross around our neck, nor do we have to stand in the middle of a busy intersection, screaming at the top of our lungs to repent.  Not that those are bad outward signs, but sometimes the only Bible someone will read is how we live our lives, so people can tell if we are a Christian or not by our actions.  So, the next time you’re with your friends, and they make suggestions that you know are not Christ like, what will you do?  Will you seek the Lord, or will you abandon Him?
