Genesis 2:3 (KJV)

And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

For all the workaholics out there, this is for us.  I remember my great grandmother, a mighty woman of God and a prayer warrior, would not even so much as lift a finger to do anything on Sunday, except gather us for family prayer around the bed, go to church, and serve Sunday dinner at the table.  No ironing or cooking could be done.  She really believed in “remembering the Sabbath day; to keep it holy.”  With the Blue Laws basically abolished, retailers see an opportunity for money to be made.  But if the Creator of the universe could rest from all His labor, why not us?
