Matthew 5:5 (NIV)
Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
Those who take this scripture to heart will understand that it’s not about a false sense of humility, but a real understanding of Who God is, and who we are not. When we realize that to be meek and humble is to crucify the flesh daily, and seek the will of God above everything else we may want, then we really will inherit the earth. Not the riches untold, but the mercy and grace of God.
