PRAYING ALWAYS
Scripture: Ephesians 6:18 "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit ..."
The Apostle Paul instructed the believers to put on the whole armor of God and stand against the strategies of the devil. When he finished listing the various pieces of the spiritual armor, he then exhorted the believer to pray with all manner of prayer. The various pieces of spiritual armor are essential but prayer itself is a powerful secret weapon that is always available to the believer. Prayer is communion with God and it ushers in the anointing of His Spirit, produces revelation of His Word, keeps you in tune with God's will, brings protection, and helps you to make right decisions.
Paul instructed us to pray with all manner of prayer. There are different prayers for the different situations in your life. The prayer of faith will heal sick bodies, move the mountains of adversity in your life, and calm the raging storms. Prayers of deliverance will set you free from your addictions and bondage. Prayers of confession will open the way for the forgiveness of your sins. Prayers of dedication and consecration will define your total submission to God's will as you pray as Jesus prayed, "Not My will, but Thine be done." There are prayers of thanksgiving, worship, and praise that give honor to the Lord for Who He is and for the things that He has done. There are prayers that are prayed in agreement with other believers and prayers that are prayed in intercession for other believers. There are also prayers that are prayed in the Spirit that will build you up in your faith.
It is said that if you have no prayer in your life, you will have no power. If you have little prayer in your life, you will have little power. And if you have much prayer in your life, you will have much power. That is the reason Paul said, "Pray always." We are to pray without ceasing (I Thessalonians 5:17) and pray everywhere (I Timothy 2:8). We are to always pray and not faint (Luke 18:1), continuing instant in prayer (Romans 12:12). Prayer is simple but it makes a mighty statement. It demonstrates your dependence upon God and your trust in Him. Prayer is a powerful energy because it moves the heart of God. Begin today to use this mighty secret weapon and pray with all manner of prayer for every need of your life. +++

O Lord my rock, You are the only foundation that I will ever need for my life. I have tried to stand on so many things that proved to be sinking sand. Lord, I want to place all of my hope for spiritual stability in You. When circumstances threaten to inundate me, be to me my rock of refuge in the storm, Amen
Jesus said to them, "All of you will be made to stumble because of Me this night, for it is written: 'I will strike the Shepherd, And the sheep of the flock will be scattered.'
Jesus is about to go to the cross. He tells the disciples that they will stumble and be scattered when He is arrested and taken to be crucified. This is when Simon Peter stands up and says, "even if everyone else leave You, I will never leave You." Jesus tells Peter, "Before the rooster crows, you will have denied Me three times."
The thing that caught my eye in this prophesy, which came out of the Old Testament, Zechariah 13:7, was the scattering of the flock or the disciples. If the disciples would scatter and leave the Lord when He was arrested and then Simon Peter himself was told that he would deny the Lord, we need to make sure that we are not guilty of the same mistake.
The best way to make sure that we are not subject to stumbling and prayer is the key. Jesus told the disciples when they got to the Garden of Gethsemane, 41"Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak."
Jesus knew what the disciples would face. He had even warned them and He gave them instructions on how to avoid the temptation that would cause them to stumble and then scatter. When we come to God in prayer, we draw near to the Lord. When we come near to Him, He comes near to us and His strength becomes our strength.
Peter drew His sword and struck one of the soldiers who came to arrest Jesus. He was wiling to defend Jesus with His life. Just hours later, he denied that he even knew Jesus to a little girl of all people. Why?
When Jesus is near, there is strength. When we are not in His presence, we are subject to failing and falling. Prayer brings His presence and His strength and His guidance and His blessing. Prayer keeps us from being scattered.
Heavenly Father,
I pray for my strength to remain pure.
With so many outside influeneces it could be easy to give in.
But I know that is not Your plan for my life...
You have something very special in store for me.
Help me to run from temptation today.
Amen

I received this Prayer Confession from one of our dear members and after reading the prayer out loud and feeling the Lord's Spirit strong around me, I knew this message had to go to all of our members. I pray you will read this prayer daily and keep it handy when you feel overwhelmed with life's troubles. Feel free to send it to your friends and loved ones as well if you feel led by the Lord. I hope this daily prayer will be a blessing to you as much as it has been for me.
DAILY PRAYER CONFESSION
Dear Heavenly Father,
I pray this prayer in the power of the Holy Spirit. In the name of Jesus Christ I bind, rebuke and bring to no effect all division, discord, disunity, strife, anger, wrath, murder, criticism, condemnation, pride, envy, jealousy, gossip, slander, evil speaking, complaining, lying, false teaching, false gifts, false manifestations, lying signs and wonders, poverty, fear of lack, fear spirit, murmuring spirit, complaining spirits, hindering spirits, retaliatory spirits, deceiving spirits, religious spirits, occult spirits, witchcraft spirits, and spirits of Antichrist.
I bind all curses that have been spoken against me. I bless those who curse me, and pray blessings on those who despitefully use me. I bind all spoken judgments made against me and judgments I have made against others. I bind the power of negative words from others, and I bind and render useless all prayers not inspired by the Holy Spirit; whether psychic, soul force, witchcraft or counterfeit tongues that have been prayed against me.
I am God's child. I resist the evil one. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. I put on the whole armor of God. I take authority over this day, in Jesus' name. Let it be prosperous for me, let me walk in Your love, Lord.
The Holy Spirit leads and guides me today. I discern between the righteous and the wicked. I take authority over Satan and all his demons and those people who are influenced by them. I declare Satan is under my feet and shall remain there all-day and everyday. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
I am God's property, Satan, you are bound from my family, my mind, my body, my home, and my finances. I confess that I am healed and whole. I flourish, am long lived, stable, durable, incorruptible, fruitful, virtuous, full of peace, patience and love. Whatsoever I set my hands to do shall prosper for God supplies all my needs. I have all authority over Satan, all
demons, and beasts of the fields.
Lord, I pray that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your Hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain.
God, I pray for the ministry you have for me. Anoint me God, for all You have called me to do for You. I call forth-divine appointments, open doors of opportunity, God ordained encounters and ministry positions.
I claim a hedge of protection around myself, spouse, (name children individually and grandchildren) throughout this day and night. I ask you God, in the name of Jesus, to dispatch angels to surround me, my spouse and our children today and to put them throughout my house and around all our cars, souls and bodies. I ask angels to protect my household from any intrusion and to protect me and my family from any harmful demonic or other physical or mental attacks. I ask this prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords. Amen.
Read this out loud daily and know that no weapon formed against you shall prosper.
Read and meditate on these scriptures:
Luke 10:19-20
Jesus says "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven."
Matthew 18:18-20
Jesus says "Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them."
All scriptures can be found in the King James Version.

Dear God, Thank you for this beautiful day. Thank you for the seasons that change and the awesome wonder of nature that you gave us to enjoy and to oversee. Thank you for cool fall breezes at the end of a hot, dry summer. Thank you for the colorful autumn leaves that flutter down and the rusty, warm shades of flowers. Thank you for harvest time, orange pumkins and crisp apples. Thank you for family together times and friends and festivals and all your abundant blessings. Thank you for keeping me safe, for watching over my loved ones, and for meeting our needs. I pray for the needy, that you will touch them and bring joy and provision into their lives. Thank you, God, for hearing me, for accepting my praise, and for answering my heart's prayers. In Yeshua's name I pray, amen.
Dear Lord, The Book of James (chapter 3) tells me all about the tongue. It's such a little member of the body, but it can do so much harm. We can speak words that bless You and words that curse man who is made in Your image. A few words can uplift, encourage, and do positive things in a person's life and a few words can also put down, discourage, and ruin a person's life. Please forgive me of allowing any words to leave my mouth that would harm others and dishonor You. I pray that my words will be honest and positive; that they will inspire and challenge others to greatness. Show me who You want me to encourage through my words today. Please help me to affirm someone close to me today, that they will be blessed and You will be glorified. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
Dear God, I know You are able...able to move mountains, to speak creation into existence, to heal the sick, save the lost, to meet every need I have. I commit myself to You. I pray for all the people around the world, plagued by turmoil, wars, illness, lack of basic needs, insecurity and fear, and addictions that enslave. Lord, You alone know best how to meet these needs and solve these dilemmas. I pray that You would intervene, that people would be drawn to You, and that You would give them rest and healing, safety and security, a sound mind and a hopeful future. I pray that You would help me to see who You want me to minister to today and offer a hand of fellowship, a ray of light, or whatever You want to offer through me. Thank You, Lord, for meeting my needs. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
Prayer is one of the best free gifts we receive.
I asked God for water, He gave me an ocean.*
I asked God for a flower, He gave me a garden.*
I asked God for a friend, He gave me all of YOU...
If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.
Happy moments, praise God.
Difficult moments, seek God.
Quiet moments, worship God
Painful moments, trust God.
Every moment, thank God.
