In Biblical symbolism, the 'woman' speaks of the SOUL. Thayers Greek Definitions defines the word most often translated as soul, which is psuche in Greek, as "the seat of the feelings, desires, affections, aversions (our heart, soul etc.)", or as we have so often heard it, the mind, will and emotions.
