MY SURGERY

Praise the Lord my brothers and sisters. I want to let you all know that on January 12, 2010 I will be going into the hospital for major surgery. I will be off line for awhile until I get back on my feet after my 6 week recovery. ARE YOU WILLING TO LOVE? (Part 2)

Question: Do we believe we can truly love our neighbor without loving God first?

FREE TO BE ME (Part 3)

We can never be free to be ourselves if our personal relationships are warped and broken by resentment, rejection, and unforgiveness. The key to successful living, therefore, is being forgiven. If we don't receive forgiveness for our transgressions, we remain guilty. "Whenever we stand praying, forgive if we have anything against anyone, so that our Father who is in heaven may forgive us our transgressions" (Mark 11:25).

RESENTMENT

"If ye forgive men their trespasses your heavenly Father will also forgive you." Matthew 6:14

QUESTION: Do we always forgive those who hurt us whether or not they ask for it? Do we feel that we have a right to resent them?

FAITH

Don't build our house on a career. Don't build our house on a thrill. Don't build our house on a talent. Don't build our house on one solitary earthly relationship. Don't pursue things that don't last. Build our house on the only thing that can last: Faith.

Do we have faith? If we have faith, then we have what it takes to tackle our problems before they tackle us. If we have that confident hope, then we will know how to handle whatever life brings us.
